Body Language of Someone Flirting With You - Page 3 of 3 - Psychologium

  • Postures and movements

Standing close: if you notice that she has no problems standing near you or you feel like the physical proximity is reducing between you two, it means she is interested in you

Exposing her neck: if she turns her head to one side exposing her neck or frequently brushes her hair, she is trying to draw your attention towards her neck or her earrings which is an indication of flirting

Of course this may be entirely unintended as well, but still, it is a clear sign of being attracted

Men

As mentioned earlier men’s body language flirtation is not as complex as compared to women’s, but they still exist. Here are some common flirting body languages of men.

Grooming: if a man constantly grooms his hair, jackets or any piece of clothing on him, it means he is attracted to you and, hence, trying to look presentable in front of you.

Eyebrows: if a man is interested in you his eyebrows will go up and down the moment he sees you. This, of course, happens in a matter of seconds, but if you see that, it’s almost certain that he is interested.

Standing tall: posture is very important to a man. Hence, if he is interested in you, he will make sure that he stands firm and strong to radiate confidence and of course to show off his body.

Touching his face: this is again another involuntary action that happens without their knowledge. When a man is attracted to you, he feels excited in your presence and apparently their face becomes “tingly.” This leads to them touching their face or lips in a natural, responsive way

Smile: now, this is more of a woman’s thing, right? But it’s the same thing with men. If he smiles around you all the time or he smiles whenever you take a glance at him, it’s certain that he likes you.

Genuine smile: men can’t fake a lot of things (no pun intended), but one thing they can is their smile. They are always around people they don’t really like and that results in fake smiles. So even if you catch him smiling at you, that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s flirting. If he is “really” smiling when you’re together or smiling at something you said, it’s a clear indication that he is attracted to you (unless you’re a stand-up comedian).
